Glimmer Missions

Short lessons that earn Glimmers and end in a real action. The mechanic that ties Coren together.

You're already raising them. Skip the 100 articles. In 5 minutes, see what's working and what's next.

How a mission works

  • One short lesson, age-appropriate, delivered by Guidi.
  • One quiz: a few questions to check understanding.
  • One real action your kid takes, alone or with you.
  • Glimmers earned. Pet grows. The lesson stays.

Examples from what's live today

3-5

"Your first Glimmer": your kid earns their first Glimmer with you alongside them. The lesson is the moment itself.

6-9

"Your first savings goal": your kid picks something they want, sets a goal, and watches Glimmers build toward it. The action: name one thing worth waiting two weeks for.

10-13

"How interest works": short lesson on money that grows when it sits. The action: figure out what €10 saved becomes after a year at three different rates. Bring the numbers to a parent.

14-17

"Risk and reward": short lesson on why bigger returns come with bigger risks. The action: pick three real investments at different risk levels and explain to a parent why you'd choose one.

Glimmers and pocket money

Coren has two currencies, and they don't mix. Glimmers live inside the app: kids earn them by completing missions and spend them in the in-app world (pet care, store, travel). Real pocket money lives outside the app: you and your kid manage it together, and Coren shows it so the lessons connect. Glimmers can never be bought, traded, or converted to real money.

The bigger ideas come in at the right age

  • Saving and waiting from age 6.
  • Borrowing and repaying from Family Plus. Kids see what a loan costs in time and Glimmers.
  • Investment tracking from Family Premium. Real concepts; numbers your kid can hold in their head.
